Song Selection

Music is influenced by Northbrook’s “ Weekly Themes for Worship“, the sermon, and current or up-coming holidays.

Set lists are put out at least a month in advance. This should give everyone on the team adequate time to prepare for the songs they’re going to sing and/or play. Please listen to and become familiar with the songs BEFORE rehearsals.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals take place every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. If you are unable to make the rehearsal time and would still like to participate on Sunday morning, please let the worship leader know in advance. Those with an unexcused absence for rehearsal will not participate in the Sunday worship service.

Our rehearsals will be guided by the following values:

1. Rehearsal is a time to perfect songs, not learn them.
2. Rehearsal is a time to connect as a team.
3. Rehearsal is a time to hear the vision.
